LOS ANGELES, CA, June 9, 1994 -- Steven Spielberg today announced that he will collaborate with multimedia software developer Knowledge Adventure, Inc. on future educational projects. This collaboration brings Mr. Spielberg together with the technological expertise of Knowledge Adventure. In addition, Mr. Spielberg disclosed that he has made an equity investment in the company; terms were not released.
"I've been following the growth in the multimedia software industry with great interest," said Mr. Spielberg. "In particular, I've been impressed with the work being done at Knowledge Adventure. When I met their founder, Bill Gross, I realized we had a tremendous amount in common. Our sons are about the same age, and we are both devoting our energies to creating great experiences for them. I'm anxious to participate in innovative, enriching educational software."
