Synergistic Designs was founded in 1985 to promote regional high technology hotbeds. The mission of each synergistic design is three-fold: to create a name for a prominent high tech region, to produce a FusionScape(TM) map representing sixty of the leaders in that region, and to launch a two-year international promotional campaign designed to heighten awareness of the companies, universities and cities integral to the region. Present campaigns include: Biotech Bay(TM) (Northern California), Biotech Beach(TM) (Southern California), Research Triangle (North Carolina), Medical Alley(TM) (Minnesota) and Genetown(TM) (Massachusetts). Upcoming 1995 regional FusionScape(TM) productions include: Pharm Country(TM) (New Jersey), BioBeltway(TM) (Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C.) and Gene Forest(TM) (The Pacific Northwest).
BioSpace was created to serve as the premier World Wide Web destination on the Internet for the biotech industry. BioSpace builds a compelling presence for all industry players and further promotes present campaign sponsors on the Internet. The focus of this expansion opportunity is to improve the speed and quality of decision-making in the biotechnology industry by making valuable and timely information available to biotech decision makers via the Internet. In many ways, BioSpace serves as a virtual on-going trade conference for the biotech industry.
Synergistic Designs is looking for key individuals, biotech companies, big pharma companies, service providers, suppliers, non-profit and government organizations, universities and research institutions to provide content and feedback toward the enhancement of BioSpace.
