Introduction

This document contains references to information sources relating to the technical, economic, public policy, and social aspects of telecommunications. All forms of telecommunication, including, voice, data, video, wired, wireless, cable TV, and satellite, are included.

The intent is to provide "high-level" pointers to other WWW servers, with a brief description of the type of information.

The initial version of this document was compiled by David Moon, with major inputs from Ed Cox, Louis Downey, Julie Johnson, and David Cordiero. Participants in the telecom-reg mailing list (too numerous to mention) also contributed URLs and suggestions. Since then, many people have generously contributed, including especially Yves Blondeel, Jed Donnelly, David Moon, and others, again too numerous to mention.

This list is being maintained by Jeff MacKie-Mason at the School of Public Policy Studies, University of Michigan. The IPPS server will be the future home for the Information Networks Policy Library -- stay tuned.
