Virtually Reality

Welcome to Virtually Reality, a 3D rendered cyberspace comic created by yours truly, Eric Scroger. I've taken the single panel comic and given it a new twist using 3D modeled and rendered imaging. Since humor and creativity are so intricately intertwined, it makes sense that the artist use the most creative tools available to achieve the most humorous effect. At a time when computer generated imagery is seeing such widespread use in areas such as film, video games, advertising, stereograms, and of course, virtual reality, it follows that the comic strip medium would also benefit from what this hip technology has to offer. But the main issue still remains, is the comic funny? I hope that in addition to using this expressive new medium, the reader is still entertained by the underlying humor in comic.

About the artist...

My name is Eric Scroger and I have been creating these comics at home for a short while now. I use Autodesk 3DStudio, CorelDraw, and soon Fractal Design Painter to create the imagery. Since I'm relatively new at this venture, I'd love to hear what everyone thinks about my comic. Please send your comments to
