Aquanaut

Welcome to Aquanaut at TerraNet, Inc. Aquanaut is the Internet's first on-line magazine dedicated to the recreational and technical SCUBA diving community.

Aquanaut has moved! Please note the new URL: `http://www.terra/net/aquanaut'.

The trusted old host that used to support Aquanaut is pretty much on its last CPU cycles. Since Aquanaut generates a lot of usage, we decided to give the old host a much needed rest. Thanks to a generous offer from TerraNet Internet Services, Aquanaut now comes to you from a host with T-1 bandwidth.

We wish to thank Opal, Open Advisors Limited, for their generous support over the last three years, without which Aquanaut would not have been possible.

Some Aquanaut services (e.g., the rec.scuba and TechDiver archives, and the Wreck Database) have not yet been reloacted. These will be moved soon. Please bear with us as we work to complete the move.

We hope that you will continue to enjoy the service.

Aquanaut is continually expanding and looking for new items. Current or planned items include:

Contributions are always wanted. If you have a review of a popular dive location, or have done a write-up of any gear, training, or service you have received, and you'd like to publish it on-line in Aquanaut, send email to `aquanaut@terra.net'.

If you are a photographer and have photographs of fish that you have taken that you would like to see published on-line in Aquanaut, we can accept .GIF and .JPG formats. Send email requesting upload info to `aquanaut@terra.net'; please do not email the images themselves.

Aquanaut is sponsored by TerraNet, Inc who are pleased to provide storage and communications for Aquanaut. TerraNet is a full-service provider of Internet Communications Services, in Boston and the surrounding regions. In addition to Connectivity, TerraNet provides Web Services, Consulting, and Training.
