We need help! AUGment needs new faces and new ideas if we're to succeed as an organization. Please review the opportunities listed below and commit some time. You'll be amazed and pleased with how much you'll learn and how much your Apriori use will benefit. You don't need any previous experience and there is always someone who will help you if you need it.
Budget/Finance Committee - while only 1 person can actually maintain the books, others can collect the mail, help prepare an annual budget, and maintain the membership names & addresses
Planning Committee - this group reviews the list of tasks that must be accomplished to organize a successful annual meeting. They may have to visit a prospective host city, talk to vendors and other presenters, negotiate with the hotel, prepare handout materials, mail surveys and registration information. Since we've completed a full task list two years in a row, we now have a standard set of activities and their due dates.
Membership Committee - mail membership applications and confirmations and work with the newsletter editor to coordinate communications
Advisory Committee - collect recommendations for an Advisory to Answer (per the advisory guidelines), research and report to the membership
Policies & Procedures Committee - Define and organize the written procedures for the organization
Newsletter Editors - publish and distribute periodical AUGment newsletter, via email or fax
Regional Meetings - We need sites to volunteer to host the meetings, others to help organize the Regions and keep the Regional members in contact with each other.
