You can find answers to many of the questions you might have about almost anything from Answers to Frequently Asked Questions in USENET.
The Whole Internet Catalog, a collection of links of the best resources on the Internet, divided into easy-to-surf subject areas.
LISTSERV Top 40 Lists (CND lists combined would be number 1. Some individual CND lists used to be top 1 and 2 a few years ago.)
Thomas P. Dowling of University of Washington Libraries manages a comprehensive list of WWW/Gopher accessible libraries.
There are two lists of URLs for educational institutions available.
- One list for international universities maintained at MIT by Christina DeMello.
- The other for universities in the U.S. only maintained at U. Florida by Mike Conlon.
