The University of Adelaide

There are a number of items that we want to display here, although at this stage we haven't completely decided how to lay out the page. Recent changes are documented in the What's New page.

Obviously we want to provide access to general info about the University, such as research strengths and enrolment information, and we want to provide access to our internal telephone directory as well as campus information, including maps.

We also want to provide access to the other Web servers within the University, such as those managed by
* Applied Mathematics
* Architecture and Urban Design
* Commerce
* Computer Science
* Electrical and Electronic Engineering
* External Clients
* Faculty of Arts
* Hughes Plaza (Security) Office
* Information Technology Division
* Labour Studies
* Medicine
* Personal Web Pages
* Physics and Mathematical Physics
* Pure Mathematics
* Student Machine User Group
* University Libraries

As well as the gopher servers in departments who have not yet transitioned to the Web, such as
* Information Technology Division
* Labour Studies

And finally a comprehensive listing of staff can be found through our X.500 directory system.

Here are some pointers to Web servers that we have found to be interesting
* The Annotated Australian Address Book.
* A Guide to Australia.
* Australian Web servers in list format and map format.
* Entering the World-Wide Web: A Guide to Cyberspace.
* The World-Wide Web Virtual Library: Subject Catalogue.
* The InterNIC InfoGuide Home Page.
* Virtual Tourist World Map.

As navigation can be a little tricky at the bottom of our pages you will find a small University crest. Selecting the crest will take you back to the University's home page, ie here.
If you want to make suggestions about any facet of this service please send us e-mail.
