CGSC: E.coli Genetic Stock Center
The CGSC maintains a database of E.coli
genetic information, including genotypes and reference information for the several thousand strains in the CGSC collection, a gene list with map and gene product information,
and information on specific mutations. The public version of the database includes the information of most interest
to the community and is accessible in the forms shown below. The CGSC Web server is experimental and does not include all information available
through the sybase database. The software under which it runs is undergoing frequent revision and enhancement. The Stock Center and the database
development are supported by the National Science Foundation. Address questions about the database contents or requests for stocks, information, or a guest login to Mary Berlyn (see below).
