Selecting the MMB TEAMate Demonstration System will give you all of the information about TEAMate.SEE BELOW TO GET THE MMB GUI CLIENT. The presentation format is the default format that is used when you do not have HTML data and is automatically generated. When viewing data this way you see the same conventions that are used with a TEAMate client, i.e., a # to the right indicates associated files, a + to the right indicates subtopics (directories). Any HTML data in your system will be displayed in HTML format.
FULL TEXT SEARCHES are supported with all access methods including Mosaic, Gopher and Query by Mail. No setup is required!
TEAMate is a general purpose information server that has comprehensive features for Bulletin Boards and will also serve Gopher and WEB clients. Access can be via character based devices (telnet or dialup) or TEAMate GUI clients (Windows, Mac and OS/2) or HTTP (Mosaic) or Gopher clients. TEAMate can be used very effectively as a WEB server because users can maintain their own HTML using the features of the Bulletin Board without accessing the server at the UNIX level.
