Where the C stands for Consensual. Probably the best resource to start learning about SM in the Puget Sound area. Pansexual and very helpful. I encourage you to use this resource if you're looking for the S/M community of Seattle.

Toystores:

Fantasy Unlimited

A good selection, but price and locale mostly aimed towards higher-income people and tourists. Fantasy Unlimited caters more towards the Dressing-For-Pleasure crowd than it does players, but it still has a good collection of restraints and similar equipment.

Toys in Babeland

This woman-owned and -operated toystore is probably the most comfortable place anyone, man or woman, could go to buy a dildo or a sex manual. Although it has a small selection of toys, Toys in Babeland's strength lies in its extensive collection of silicone dildos along one wall and the equally extensive collection of sexual literature along the other. Safer sex supplies and lubricants are also available. If you want a dildo, vibrator or book, stop in here.

The Crypt

Probably one of the best toystores in the Seattle Area, The Crypt caters as much to a gay and lesbian clientele as it does to straight customers. Sex toys, dildos, vibrators share equal floorspace with leather and latex clothing; toys are relegated to one large wall and lots of stuff hanging overhead. For fashion or lube, shop here.

SIN

The displays at SIN are almost exclusively by local artists, and the work is just incredible. Sin also has those very hard-to-find items, like ritual scalpel holders, gothic-image spreader bars of forged steel, and chain-mail gloves. They are very willing to take special orders, and will import for you anything you can point to in a magazine. At cost, of course. SIN also carries Body Circle jewlery, some of the finest piercing jewlery in the country (It's all I wear) and Marks Floggers, which I think are of better quality than Heartwoods. And they're *heavier*, too. For S/M toys and latex clothes, Sin should be your first stop.

R& R Books

R& D Books is the Eastside's toys store of toy stores. Restraints, floggers, dildos, lube, books, magazine... R& R has it all. However, like any jack of all trades, it does everything reasonably, but nothing with any flair or expertise.
