Originally founded in 1865, the Church of St. Matthew has a history of service to the San Mateo community for over 130 years. St. Matthew's welcomes all visitors, and is eager to meet the spiritual needs of all. Whether you are a confirmed Episcopalian, confirmed as a member of another catholic faith or are new to Christianity, the clergy of St. Matthew's invites you to explore the benefits of Christian life and fellowship in the inspirational setting of our historic parish.

St. Matthew's is located at the corner of Baldwin Avenue and El Camino Real in downtown San Mateo. Mass is celebrated each Sunday 8:00am and 10:00am.
