Web Site Demographics
by
So what is it?
Cookware's Web Site Demographic Service helps you determine the number of unique domains from
which people visit your WWW site, it describes which pages in your site are visited and it helps
you quantify the degree of popularity of any given page. From a marketing perspective, this
is very important. In fact, once information like this is known about your site, you can
work to rearrange the site to better deliver your sales and marketing message for your
product or service.
For example, let's say you have five pages in your Web Application. By analyzing the nightly
reports that are created for your site, you determine that pages 2, 3 and 5 are most frequently
visited. However, when you designed the site, you put the most important information on
page 4. Our Demographic Service has now given you quantifiable evidence on why your sales have
been so poor. The page that actually closes the sale is not being visited!
This is exactly why we created this service. We feel it is not enough to help you build your
World Wide Web Application. More importantly, we must give you the tools to help you be
successful in your endeavor with this new type of sales and marketing medium.
So what do I do?
First, you have to subscribe to the Cookware Web Site Demographics Service. Then, depending upon the
reporting level you purchase, you will be asked for the name of the pages that you would like
tracked.
You will also need to give us the name of the HTML document that we will create.
This name can be as simple or complex as you like. We suggest you
drop the name of the URL to the document into the hot list on your browser so that
you can reference it on a moment's notice.
Then ... we do the rest! Every night, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, we analyze the activity on
your site and create an HTML document that describes precisely the activity your site
has seen. We put this document in your WWW directory. Information like this is crucial to the success of the product or
service you are marketing on the Web. It gives you valuable insight into which
portions of your site are being visited!
How much does it cost?
There are currently 3 reporting levels available. We are always looking to expand the functionality
of the system. So, if there is a statistic that you feel would be useful, let us know. We will
investigate incorporating it into the service.
Report Level 1
- Monthly Cost : FREE to all IQuest subscribers
- An analysis of the name of your directory is performed.
- You are presented with the statistics for the day, and cumulative statistics for the
month.
- Here is an example report.
Report Level 2
- Monthly Cost : $35.00
- An analysis of any 50 HTML page names is performed. If you want more than 50 pages
analyzed, you simply buy another report.

statistics for the month. You are also given a break down of the number of accesses by
people from IQuest as well as people outside of IQuest.

Report Level 3
- Monthly Cost : $70.00
- An analysis of any 50 HTML page names is performed. If you want more than 50 pages
analyzed, you simply buy another report.

statistics for the month. You are also given a break down of the number of accesses by
people from IQuest as well as people outside of IQuest. We also include a count of the
number of unique Internet Domains that have accessed your site.
