Your Internet source for commercial writing, editing and communications.

We've got bright, thought-provoking copy for business, industry and the public sector. We do speeches, newsletters, buttoned-down prose, and in-your-face ads. It's snappy, sassy, on-time writing that generates ideas, discussion and sales. Our services are grouped into three departments:

Commercial includes copywriting, non-fiction articles, HTML production, and a great book about a motorcycle legend.

Romance is a hard-edged look at contemporary mores in which women play as interesting power games as men.

In Editorial, you'll find some political opinions you won't see in the mainstream media; at least not yet. Current topics include sex, drugs, youth crime, television reporting and the constitution.

If you'd like something written, churned out, dreamed up, cut down, expanded, edited, pumped or just finished right now, click on this e-mail link and let us know. Just visiting? Please sign our Guest Book, below. Current date and time is Tuesday, 18-Apr-95 11:25:34 PDT.

Hey, it never stops... here's another page in HTML3, the new home page of Canadian Biker Magazine. Canadian Biker is the largest editorial content Canadian motorcycle magazine and is based in Victoria. The May issue has a great road test of the new 1995 Triumph Thunderbird.

Frank Hilliard Writing has been appointed HTML services provider to Vancouver Island's leading computer dealer, Paradon Computer Systems Ltd. We're happy to be associated with such a dynamic company and proud to show off its new Web home page.

Remember the hot new Web page we've been talking about on the Government's ssbux1 server? Well, ta da it was finally released April 5, 1995 and is now ready for inspection. We believe this is the first B.C. Government Policy Paper to be released simultaneously in print and on the Web. Congratulations to all the folks at CV&F!

FHW has prepared a 3,000 word review of Canadian tax preparation software. It's in the current issue of the Computer Paper right here. If you return to the CP index, you'll see another example of HTML 3 background being used, together with white text.

We rather like this HTML 2 layout we did for Motorcycle Online. We went through this museum last year and were very impressed.

Here's a local publisher using the Web to promote his unique reference book. Again, we used HTML 2.

FHW Newsstand

It's back by popular demand, the FHW Newsstand. The only difference is that we've moved it off this page to its own little street corner.

Government of B.C.

The Government of B.C. is officially committed to telecommuting as one method of reducing air pollution caused by vehicle emissions. It has also provided most of its internal e-mail networks with Internet gateways, meaning that thousands of government employees are now on the Net. In addition, some Ministries have begun building home pages and their managers have been equipped with graphical Web browsers. We applaud these initiatives and are pleased to put in links to the Ministries and Branches that we know are on the Web.

If you are aware of other Ministries or Branches with home pages, please let us know.
