This finely lit portrait was taken by Minolta Club of Great Britain
member John Walls at the inaugural meeting of the club's new
Midland Group. The subject is the group organiser Dave Simons' daughter
Sheila. John used a Minolta X-500 SLR with 85mm f2 lens, Bowens Prolite
flash with softbox, Lastolite Tri-Flector and blue backdrop, and a
vignetting filter. The picture is featured in "The Image Space", a
four-page open gallery selection from Minolta Club members.
