A local organization, First Step Research, is now providing Internet access to the Palouse. They are also the home of the Moscow Public Access Home Page.
If you are a UI computer user, and you would like to create your own public personal home page for other WWW users to see, try typing WWW-starter-kit at the system prompt while logged-in to Raven, Buzzard, Goshawk, or Crow. It will creat e a minimal home page for you to build on.
If you do not have an account on the HP systems mentioned above, you can apply for one at the Helpdesk (Admin 22). Sorry, but due to security restrictions and load limitations, you can't create a home page from accounts on Osprey.
