Special report on IRC Chat Sessions with:
CHRISTOPHER CROSS
on Sunday, July 9th at 11:33 AM through 12:20 PM (PDT=GMT-7)
Christopher Cross chatted candidly with fans online. He discussed how his career began, went ballistic, crashed, and how he managed to resurect his art. He also talked about the Grammy's, the Oscars, NARAS, and the current state of the music industry. In conclusion, he offered chatters free tickets to his shows in their areas to thank them for their support. Very down-to-earth and approachable, Cross was a spectacular example of a victim of the "media-industrial machine". When one fan asked about the rumour that Cross' four Grammys had been locked away in his closet (they were a mixed blessing for the artist's career), he replied: "My Grammys went from lighted pedestals to the closet to a mantlepiece in the family room, next to my son's soccer trophies, where they belong."
To be put on the email notification list or to request Chat Sessions with other artists.
The Foreigner chat has been indefinitely postponed due to scheduling complications.
