When the solve option is chosen, a new box containing the sun angle, the moon angle, the earth angle, and the rotation angle appears in the upper left corner of the screen. These four items are not options, but rather information regarding the orientation of the satellite. The first three of these refer to angles between vectors pointing from the satellite to the named bodies and the vector pointing from the satellite to the radio source being investigated (ie. the pointing axis if the spacecraft antenna). If one of these displays becomes red, it means that the angle displayed is not within the allowed range, as specified in the restrictions parameter file restrict.par. The displayed angles are the angles with respect to the center of the body and not the edge of the body disk. Because the restrictions refer to the edge of the body disk, the display will become red at an angle slightly less than the minimum angle listed in restrict.par. The rotation angle refers to the rotation about the pointing axis of the satellite required in order that all of the restrictions for the operation of the satellite are satisfied. When the program is searching for a solution, this angle will change rapidly.
