Any Illinois-based business, non-profit organization or individual may
apply for a Prairienet Information Provider account. Although accounts
are provided at no cost, we strongly encourage businesses to support their
community network through an annual
donation or sponsorship.
Prairienet Information Providers (IPs) serve a vital function in
building Prairienet as a community network, for this reason, IP accounts
carry a number of additional privileges.
