ARM Linux

If you wish to email me, please specify a subject line of ARMLinux. Thanks.

What is ARM Linux?

ARM Linux is a port of the PC version of Linux, a Unix-like operating system originally written by Linus Torvalds. It is Posix compliant.

Current state of the port:

  • Hardware
  • Machines
  • Filsystems and Network Protocols
  • Software
  • Availability
  • Other pages

  • The Acorn PC Card Linux Page
  • I have been able to mount my home directory onto my Linux system using a slip connection at 2400 Baud. Okay, it's a bit slow, but it does work.

I have also had some people remotely logging into Linux at 38.4 kBaud.
