What is ARM Linux?
ARM Linux is a port of the PC version of Linux, a Unix-like operating
system originally written by Linus Torvalds. It is Posix compliant.
Current state of the port:
-
- Hardware
-
- Machines
-
- Filsystems and Network Protocols
-
- Software
-
- Availability

I have been able to mount my home directory onto my Linux system using a slip
connection at 2400 Baud. Okay, it's a bit slow, but it does work.
I have also had some people remotely logging into Linux at 38.4 kBaud.
