But since you're here in Serious Fun, why not check out the Contest of the Moment? Over time, we plan to give away everything from cool Indy hats to complete Indy workstations. So you don't miss out, visit Contest of the Moment, whenever you come to Silicon Surf. As a heads up, we're now working on a contest that will give away an Indy workstation and a Challenge S server for authoring and serving World Wide Web content. That contest is coming soon, but you can do a little advanced preparation by reading how Wired magazine is using Silicon Graphics technology to launch HotWIRED.
Serious Fun is also a place where you can get great Shareware. This is primarily of interest to folks who already work on a Silicon Graphics system, but all are welcome.
And, of course, Serious Fun is a place for unexpected wonders. Our current feature is a multimedia encounter with Scott Adams the creator of the Dilbert comic strip. We first met Scott last year at Pacific Bell in San Ramon while we were doing final qualification of the ISDN software for Indy. (ISDN capability is standard with every Indy.) Our engineers got along great with Scott and invited him down to Mountain View to play sometime. He took us up on the offer, and even let us video him drawing Dogbert. (Dilbert would have taken too long, because he has to turn the page while he's drawing him.)
