First Night Boston comes to you via the World Wide Web to provide on-line information about the largest New Year's Eve celebration in North America. With 55 locations around the city and 228 performances by 1000 artists, you may easily see only the events in which you are interested, create your own custom itinerary, and print it at any time. First Night is produced by First Night, Inc., a cultural service organization that is privately funded. This interactive service was designed and developed for First Night, Inc. by Terry Swack and Karen Houldin of Terry Swack Design Associates, in collaboration with Kee Hinckley of Utopia Inc., a Web Site engineering firm.

AJS.COM is a home system which provides WWW access to information which Aaron Sherman deems interesting. The the moment this includes Boston Area Babylon 5 information (WSBK TV38 schedules, etc.) and Magic: The Gathering info.

Atria Software

Atria was profiled in the Emerging Technology column in the Boston Globe on March 15. Ron Rosenberg called the company one of the big stock-market winners in Massachuestts high tech. (We went public in May 1994 at 11; the stock hit a high of 52 this week and has settled back into the high 40's.)

Apple Computers

Their lab creates developer tools, i.e. compilers and development environments for object-oriented dynamic languages (OODLs). Their main products are Dylan and MCL. The main Apple page is at http://www.info.apple.com.

A recent winner of a NIST ATP Award on healthcare information infrastructure, Belmont Research is a 4-year-old software development company focused on applications in biomedical computing.
