Here are some things about our school:
- We have spirit assemblies where the school honors student standouts.
Student standouts are class leaders for the week. They are outstanding
students either academically or as citizens.
- We have chorus every other week.
- We have hot lunches with five different hot entres every day. Five
third graders each week get to help with lunch and they get a free lunch
each day.
- We have fantastic teachers who help us out whenever we need help with
our work. They are always there when we need them.
- Kids here are especially friendly and you can make alot of friends here.
- We have a really cool
school song. It is
sung to the tune of It's a Grand Old Flag
It's a grand old school where the learning is
cool and the kids are the best in the land. It's a symbol of the
learning we love, reaching new heights and above. Every heart beats true
for the red white and blue, where the teachers and staff are great. La
Costa Heights above the rest, our school is number one.
- We live near the beach and there is good surfing a mile away.
- There are alot of parks nearby where we can swing and play.
- Lots of us play soccer on afterscool teams.
